Newmarin Construction specializes in design and new building construction, including residential and commercial, as well as restoration and renovation of existing spaces.

We assist our clients from conception to reality.  Founded in 2006, we are a fully licensed and bonded general contractor — State of California General Contractor License #885707.  In certain cases, we hire subcontractors to perform specific tasks.

Bahram G. Khamjani, Principal

A creative, enthusiastic, result oriented, problem solving and high-achieving individual with over 33 years of outstanding performance based on a solid formal education in Architecture and Urban Planning. As Principal and General Contractor, Mr. Khamjani's emphasis is in construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Mr. Khamjani has been involved in numerous sub-division construction projects in Southern California areas of San Diego, La Jolla, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Los Angeles.

He was formerly CEO/President of a large construction company in Tehran, Iran with over 1000 employee where he was responsible for building over 8000 residential codominium units in urban areas and over 2000 affordable housing units for low-income families in south and east of Tehran .

Mr. Khamjani education includes a B.A. from Tabriz University (1971) and M.A. fromTehran University (1973). He was professor at faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning/Design at National University of Iran. Lecturing included "Restoration of Historical Buildings" and city fabrics for 27 years.

Mr. Khamjani's accomplishments include creating, managing and selling several successful construction and architectural companies. His honors inlcude receiving the Eight Award cycle, 1999-2001 Agha khan Award for Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston. He's written over 35 articles and books in numerous subjects regarding Persian Architecture. He also has been guest speaker at Southern California Institue of Architecture (SCIARC), University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), and Society of Iranian American Engineers & Architects about historical Architecture of Iran.

He also prides himself in “Being married over 35 years to my lovely wife, Jaleh, with two handsome grand children.”

Mr. Khamjani's professional memberships include Marin Builders Association, Better Business Bureau, Building Trades Association, and IACC (Iranian-American Chamber of Commerce).
